With over 25 years of organic farming experience, they prioritise sustainable practices, including manual harvesting and crop rotation, while eliminating pesticides. Guided by Romain Ott’s philosophy, “We only produce according to what the land can offer us,” they respect seasonal cycles and ecological balance, ensuring that nature thrives for future generations.

Carriere Pradal, a member of SWR since September 2024, is committed to challenging environmental and sustainable practices in winemaking. After transitioning to organic farming, they have become pioneers in agroforestry, leading the way in redefining land management.

Ellis Wines, a certified Carbon Neutral business, joined SWR in June 2024. They have measured and offset Scope 1, 2, and parts of Scope 3 emissions but are committed to further reducing their environmental impact. This year, they are focusing on minimising Scope 3 emissions, particularly by reducing glass usage and freight. Ellis Wines is dedicated to sustainability and sees SWR membership as an opportunity to contribute to the industry’s collective efforts for positive change.

Encirc, based in the UK, is a leading glass packaging manufacturer committed to sustainability and innovation. Their top sustainability goals include achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and increasing the use of recycled materials in their products. Notable achievements include a 30% reduction in carbon emissions since 2015 and investing in state-of-the-art recycling technology, which has improved their recycling rates significantly. Encirc is dedicated to creating a circular economy for glass, with a vision to enhance the environmental impact of packaging in the beverage and food industries.

Endeavour Group, an Australian retail leader, is committed to sustainability, with initiatives like ReCork, a large-scale cork recycling program, and eco-friendly packaging such as lightweight bottles and “bagnums.” Their SWR membership reflects a dedication to reducing environmental impact in the beverage industry.
